Primary Responsibilities:
Project Oversight
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
Effectively applies company methodology and enforces project standards
Coordinates quality assurance procedures
Project risks & issues management
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Communication
Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively
Holds regular status meetings with project team
Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Customer Management & Business Partnership
Manages day-to-day customer interaction
Sets and manages customer expectations
Develops lasting relationships with teammates that foster customer ties
Communicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
Builds a knowledge base of each customer’s business, organization, and objectives
Ensure cadence with business team leadership to ensure alignment with business goals, strategy
Project Accounting (If applicable)
Develops budget, provides monthly forecasting, and overall budget management
Ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project
Follows up with customers, as necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
Assures project legal documents are completed and signed
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Org. Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or related)
5 - 7 years hands-on project management experience
Experience managing projects in both waterfall and agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks
Substantial experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint & Project.
Proven exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including a proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment
Proven ability to manage key stakeholders while managing competing priorities
Solid leadership skills including conflict/issue resolution
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with customers, stakeholders, and senior leadership
Ability to work effectively with project resources across multiple departments
Microsoft Office 365 - Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, and Outlook are a must. Azure is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification (highly preferred - candidates without get lowest priority)
Additional agile preferred certifications include, in order of importance:
Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Professional Scrum Master (PSM-I)
Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO-I)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
