Class B Route Delivery Driver

At City Ice Inc our Route Sales Delivery Drivers use our refrigerated trucks to make deliveries to our Established customer base, So you may be delivering Ice all day but the scenery and locations are always changing, if you are adventurous and like to visit different places and meeting new people daily then this Job is for you! City Ice Inc is a family owned and operated company that's been in business for over 40 years. We are currently looking for local Class A and B CDL drivers full and part-time positions for Route Delivery Drivers are available. Driver Position: Using our vehicles, you will be servicing our established customer base, so no selling is involved.

• Average of 12-15 deliveries a day
• Delivery drivers are responsible for invoicing and basic communication/interaction with the customer
• This job does require a good deal of bending, lifting and pushing - this is a labor-intensive position (NO GYM membership required)!
• Hours per week can range from 18 to 40 hours per week. Overtime is occasionally available during the warmer months.
• We do Work Some Weekends and they are quite productive days too.
• While no minimum work experience is required, some route sales experience is a plus.

• Reliable transportation to work
• Previous Route Delivery experience is a plus

• Daily Bonus of up to $45.00 extra per day

• We usually start work at 7am and most route drivers are finished by 5pm so you are home every night!

Requirements:

• CDL class A or B with no restrictions Required
• Good driving record no citations or tickets in past 5 years (we will check)
• No at fault crashes / accidents in past 5 years (we will check)
• Must be insurable at normal rates without conditions (we will check)
• Ability to pass pre-employment federal DOT drug screen
• Must not be prohibited in the FMCA drug and alcohol clearinghouse
• Pallet Jack experience preferred but not necessary. We will train
• Ability to repetitively lift and move product in quantities of 7lb and 20lb ice bags
• No Felonies in the past 7 years
• No DUI in the past 7 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical exam
• We Will accept recent driving school graduates
