Hotel: Columbus Airport Marriott Restaurant Supervisor Full time Atrium SPIRIT - where teamwork, passion and appreciation ignite service excellence Experienced Rate of Pay: $16.50 per hour Profile: Telecommute: No Bonus Eligible: No Direct Reports: No Reports To: Executive Chef, Banquet Manager or All Purpose Manager Equipment: Uniform Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Restaurant Supervisor is to provide guests with an excellent restaurant experience. Work Performed: TheRestaurant Supervisorwill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Supervise,direct, schedule,and trainfood and beverageAssociates; Exceed guest expectations throughout their restaurant and hotelexperience; Workquickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guestconcerns, ensuring follow through with appropriate manager(s); Ensureall opening and closingside work is completedaccuratelyon a dailybasis; AssistRestaurant Associatesas well as other restaurant associates withtheir job duties asnecessary; Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination, keepingcompartment sinks, side boards, and refrigerators clean andsanitized; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; and Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications: Required Prior Experience: Two(2) yearsof prior server experience At leastone yearlead and/or supervisory experience Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Licenses/ Certification: Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment. Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment Physical: Able to lift50lbsoccasionally Ableto bend and squatrepeatedly; Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift Other: Meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both written and oral Flexible towork dayshifts, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekends and holidays
