Job Description
A Reach Truck Driver is responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. They are also responsible for maintaining the safety and efficiency of the warehouse or distribution center.
Principal Responsibilities
Maneuvering the reach truck safely and efficiently to move, lift, and stack materials.
Handling the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles or storage areas.
Keeping accurate records of inventory movements, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of items.
Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including regular maintenance checks on the equipment.
Inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies and reporting any issues.
Daily use of handheld RF scanner.
Prepare and pack parts and materials for shipment.
Receive, inspect, and document shipments.
Move material to proper area for storage.
Cover Inbound and outbound warehouse associate responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Ability to adapt to internal process changes, delays, and unexpected events.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Work well under pressure of tight deadlines.
Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
Ability to accurately follow instructions and maintain safety standards.
Physical Fitness: good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy items.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with leaders and peers.
Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Additional Information
Compensation Information:
This position is an hourly position and the U.S. annual base salary range for this full-time position is $40,840 to $61,260 . Within this range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to work experience, applicable education, job knowledge, role complexity, job geographic location, etc. This position is not bonus eligible.
