Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Sales Tax Manager based at our Greenville, North Carolina headquarters .

What you will do:

• Responsible for sales/use tax compliance for all revenue streams and purchasing activity for USA (multiple states) and Canada locations.Compliance includesaccurate customer billing and accounts payable self-assessment, as well as accurate and timelyfiling of tax returns.

• Stay apprised of tax regulations in order to ensure the proper taxation for both sales and accounts payables.

• Managefiling sales/use tax returns and payments. This includes monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.

• Financial statement balance sheet reconciliation for sales tax related accounts.

• Manage tax software.

• Manage sales tax exemption certificate process in order to eliminate associated billing errors that require customer refunds of sales tax.

• Manage tax audit engagements and the evaluation of audit findings.

• Problem solving.

• Special projects and continuous improvement initiativestoward more efficient and effective processes.

What you will need:

• 4 Year Degree in accounting or finance; accounting preferred

• 5+ Years relevant experience; tax leadership and supervisory experience preferred

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Problem Solving

• SAP experience
