Purpose/Description

Responsible for supporting the Prevost Bus Shell Division’s marketing plans, business activities and growth initiatives, as well as manage and assist with multiple on-going projects that include, but are not limited to,

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and provide specific Shell business direction to Prevost and Volvo marketing-communications personnel to ensure brand consistency and desired brand positioning for our Shell business line and converter partners.

• Assist with the implementation of defined Shell marketing strategies and business development initiatives.

• Assist with the preparation of needed sales presentations under the guidance of the Shell Staff.

• Create and manage Master Shell Activity Calendar (including Converter / Motorhome Club specific events).

• Develop / Coordinate articles for motorhome club newsletters as needed (4 per year).

• Drive the Shell group’s Social Media content by core market, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

• Develop advertising material to convey Prevost Shell brand and product messages to targeted audiences.

• Manage weekly NASCAR activation activities for all Prevost Sales, Service and Management groups.

• Support Prevost’s Official NASCAR Sponsorship Programs; NASCAR Fuel For Business and Fuel for Hospitality.

• Work with various Motorhome Club coordinators to provide Prevost support. Attend Club Rallies when needed.

• Shell Trade Show Coordination for all markets including Motorhome, Entertainer and selected niche markets including; Limo, Coach and Specialty opportunities.

• Act as the Prevost Liaison with the Entertainer Motorcoach Counsel (EMC) Meeting and Event Coordinator.

• Gather and provide PR and Article ideas / content for various bus industry publications to Prevost Marketing & Communications Department.

• Management of needed Shell content on Prevost and Converter partner websites.

• Coordination and preparation of needed sales and marketing collateral materials.

• Coordinate annual Converter Sales Factory Training (Campbell to create curriculum).

• Participate in scheduled conference calls with various internal departments.

Additional Responsibilities

• This position requires frequent communication with a variety of internal and external Shell business stakeholders including various Prevost departments, staff, management, vendors, media, and customers.

• Work across the organization to ensure Shell website is maintained and updated; driving improvements in this area, while respecting overall corporate branding.

• Direct agency and creative suppliers to ensure effective results for all Shell marketing projects.

• Support plans related to tradeshows, rallies, conferences, and customer special events, including the management of the required show material.

• Manage the ordering and distribution of Shell specific promotional items related to marketing activities.

• Coordinate utilization of coop-advertising program with converter partners to support customer events and promotions.

• Represent the Shell division at various conferences, tradeshows, associations meetings and other events.

• Manage related Shell specific marketing and advertising budgets.

• Develop advertising material to convey brand and product messages to targeted audiences.

• Manage the ordering and distribution promotional items related to marketing activities.

• Identify, build, manage and update social media interfaces directed at specific audience groups.

• Build and manage teams of internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop and execute marketing projects.

• Ensure compliance with brand positioning visual identity guidelines to achieve strategic consistency throughout the organization.

• Develop supporting sales collateral material including brochures, videos, and other promotional literature.

• Produce press releases to promote division’s products and services, new developments, etc. Prepare material for trade magazines editorials.

• Manage the product and division related image bank (i.e.: responsible for photo shoots, images availability, sales picture requests, etc.).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication

• 5 years of pertinent experience in marketing or communication

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Background in heavy equipment is an asset

• Knowledge of French language is an asset

• Experience with Microsoft programs, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
