Robert Half is excited to be offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Systems Administrator to join our client's team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The key focus of this role will be to configure, monitor, and maintain the virtual and physical environments while providing advanced user support to internal network and remote employees. You will also be entrusted with the responsibility of managing the Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, among other crucial tasks.

This is a Direct/Permanent Hire role with our client, and will require a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite). Salary range from $70,000 to $100,000/year depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our virtual and physical environments.

• Monitoring system performance, creating baselines, planning capacity, and tuning systems to achieve required business reliability and performance.

• Administration of Active Directory and related services, including Group Policy, NTFS, DNS, and DHCP.

• Installation of server hardware, applications, and networking components.

• Management and maintenance of the company’s Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

• Management and maintenance of host, network, and application monitoring systems. Develop alerts and configure recovery procedures.

• Providing advanced end-user technical support for the internal network and remote employees.

• Making recommendations for the design, installation, and configuration of system hardware and software.

• Setting up and maintaining corporate printers and fax machines.

• Researching hardware and software tools required for IT and development infrastructure, working with vendors to select solutions and provide necessary support.

• Deploying software applications as needed and tracking user licensing.

• Creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for all technical tasks, processes, and procedures.

• Monitoring the Help Desk system and working assigned tickets to completion.

• Managing network resources and using monitoring and alert tools to notify appropriate users in case of outages.

• Installing and maintaining firewall devices and related network equipment.

• Configuring routers, switches, wireless systems, and firewalls.

• Implementation and support of Pure Storage SAN solutions, ensuring high performance, protection, and availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role

• Proficiency in VMware and Azure Active Directory

• Expertise in M365/O365

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server

• Experience in Network Administration, including knowledge of routers and LAN/WAN

• Familiarity with scripting in PowerShell

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant professional certification is a plus.
