Description: This position will perform a variety of duties in the quality engineering function. Interfacing with manufacturing, inspection, and other cross functional groups as well as program customers.

This position requires the candidate to function well in a technical-oriented environment and possess a good working knowledge of how to interact with technical and managerial staff.

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in mechanical or industrial engineering.

The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge or exposure to Lean 6 Sigma principles.

Knowledge orexposure to the use of Data Analytics to solve problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
