Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Planner Associate in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Works in the Production, Planning and Control

organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of

Materials (BOM) Planner. Coordinates

interdepartmental activity with quality

assurance, manufacturing, purchasing,

engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts

administration, etc.; schedules and expedites the

movement of parts by means of move orders,

stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

Requires travel and/or communication to all

production sites and vendor locations. Work

outside of the normal operating hours may be

required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

- Ability to obtain a security clearance.

- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of

computer systems, databases, and programs

- Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem

solving, and multitasking skills

Desired Skills:

- Inventory Control and material handling

knowledge

- Experience with material requirements and

Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.

- Black Belt trained / certified

- Ability to understand engineering drawings and

parts lists

- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory

Management (CPIM) certification

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
