Description: This internship role will support the Dallas Electrical Shop Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team, for the production and sustainment operations in Grand Prairie, TX.

The ME intern will be responsible for various manufacturing related project and tasks that will support the manufacture, assembly, re-certification, re-capitalization, and development of Electrical hardware and assemblies. This includes continuous improvement activities and other task as required off the manufacturing engineering support staff.

Basic Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or related STEM discipline.

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with factory production systems (SAP, MES, etc.)

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work in a fast paced teamwork environment.

- A quick learner who is able to take day-to-day direction form department lead/manager and work with little supervision.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
