MORE ABOUT THE CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANPOSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for thisCertified Behavior Technician opportunity include, but are not limited to:

• The CBT will work under the direction of a Licensed Behavior Analyst for any and all tasks related to the provision of ABA treatment.

• Accurately collect behavior data including, ABC, frequency, duration, latency, inter-response time, event, and interval-based recordings

• Use and implement ABA intervention strategies and verbiage as prescribed by BCBA

• Prepare, enter, update all data entries daily that are related to client caseloads

• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior

• Utilize a combination of intensive teaching and NET (Natural Environment Teaching) as identified by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Ensure that session documentations are professional, completed and converted in a timely manner.

• Maintain and acquire technical knowledge

• Model and promote high quality professionalism in the areas of communication and maintain a positive representation to clients, families, referred partnerships and to the public

• Uphold and honor client dignity and safety at all times, across all settings

• Actively participate in ongoing staff meetings as directed by Supervisor

• Properly report all incidents and safety concerns regarding those receiving services

• Effectively communicate with parents or responsible caregivers regarding client's progress and or needs as instructed by the BCBA

• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPP A laws

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized therapy work environment

• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THECERTIFIED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN:

• High School Diploma

• 18 Years of Age

• Certified Behavior Technician license from the state of employment

• 1 year of experience is preferred
