Job Description:

Addison Gilbert Hospital is a Primary Stroke Service Hospital. We serve as a primary point of entry for patients accessing this service. The department is staffed with at least one Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician at all times. The ED is a 24/7.

  • There are 10 private exam rooms including 1 major trauma room, 1 major cardiac room, 1 ped/OB-GYN room, and 1 negative pressure room.

  • There is 1 Behavioral Health room and 5 other general exam rooms all, with cardiac monitoring capabilities

  • Triage are has 1 triage exam room and is staff by Access Services and ED staff.

  • Ancillary staffs utilized are ED Technicians and Administrative Assistants.

Requirement

  • MA RN, BLS, ACLS and PALS required

  • TNCC or ENPC preferred, to be certified within the first 6 months of hire.

  • Telemetry experience required

  • Emergency Room experience strongly preferred

  • BSN preferred
