Keeps records of financial transactions for our company under the direct supervision of our accountant and the company's management. Verifies, allocates, and post details of business transactions to accounts in journals or computer files from documents, such as invoices, receipts, check stubs and computer printouts. Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfer data to general ledger, using calculator or computer. Reconciles and balances accounts. Compiles reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivables, profit and loss and other items pertinent to operation of business. Make trips to the bank to deposit checks and payments received regularly from clients and withdraw cash as per the accountant or management's instructions.
