The Physical Therapy Institute at Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona invites applications for a full-time non tenure track benefit-eligible 12-month clinical faculty appointment. Position responsibilities include direct patient care in the areas of outpatient musculoskeletal, geriatrics, and neurological rehabilitation. Other opportunities may include supervision of students in the clinical setting and collaboration on committees and research.

The clinic houses a CAREN (Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment) virtual reality system for advanced clinical evaluation, analysis, and rehabilitation, one of only ten in the United States. Job Requirements:

Required qualifications include: (1) a DPT Degree from A CAPTE accredited program, (2) at least five years of outpatient clinical experience, (3) prior experience working with physical therapy students or residents, (4) current AZ physical therapy license, and (5) the ability to work effectively as a collaborative team member with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred qualifications include: (1) ABPTS certification in orthopedics, geriatrics, or neurological physical therapy.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance is available.
