Veralto Global Risk & Controls Manager in Glen Allen, Virginia

The Global Risk & Controls Manager is responsible for providing consultative and oversight services to management on the company’s Global SOX 404 program and to continue to optimize our SOX framework. It is responsible for all aspects of ChemTreat’s global compliance program, including planning, managing, implementing, and consolidating global results for documentation and testing activities related to compliance. This position is the primary interface with ChemTreat’s internal and external auditors for the communication and coordination of testing. This position also manages the Company’s Fleet operations, Certificates of Insurance, Blueprint platform and ensures compliance to the travel and entertainment policy.

This position is part of the Compliance Department located in Glen Allen, VA and will be On-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Maintain documentation of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.

  • Coordinate with external consultants and external auditors to facilitate SOX audits and reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of new business initiatives on SOX compliance.

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on SOX requirements and compliance procedures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • In-depth understanding of SOX regulations and requirements, including Sections 302 and 404.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify control gaps.

  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field.

  • CPA or CIA with Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or risk management roles and a working knowledge of IT security.

  • Experience designing, monitoring, or evaluating internal controls and SOX compliance programs for a global organization
