Who are we?

We are a distinguished hospitality group operating in the heart of Ghent, Belgium, offering two exceptional properties: the Ghent Marriott and the Residence Inn.

Ghent Marriott stands proudly in the historic city center, gracing the banks of the Leie River within the medieval harbor. Boasting 150 luxurious bedrooms, 9 versatile meeting and event spaces, a renowned restaurant, and a charming terrace overlooking the canal, it's a beacon of hospitality in the city.

Meanwhile, the Residence Inn, Belgium's first of its kind, opened its doors in 2019. Nestled in the southern part of Ghent near the Ghelamco Football Arena and major motorways, it offers 105 modern self-catering apartments, catering perfectly to extended stays with all the comforts of home.

Excitingly, our growth doesn't stop there. Our owners are currently developing two additional hotels and a meeting center in Ghent, expanding our footprint and solidifying our presence in the local market.

Both properties are managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, a division of the esteemed Aimbridge Hospitality brand, overseeing a vast portfolio of over 1,600 hotels and resorts worldwide. From big brands like Hilton, Accor, Marriott, and IHG to boutique and independent hotels, Aimbridge Hospitality prides itself on excellence and diversity.

Currently, we are seeking an accomplished Cluster Revenue Manager to oversee revenue operations across our properties in Ghent. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing revenue strategies, aligning with brand policies, and driving growth through effective sales and pricing strategies.

A Day in the Life of…

Key to success within this role will be the utilization of all revenue management tactics, processes, and procedures responsible for driving room revenue and also ensuring the alignment of brand policy, revenue management, sales and distribution strategy, and central marketing initiatives for 2 properties and potentially more in the pipeline.

As a revenue manager, you will be:

  • Attending and driving our business meetings ensuring that sales and pricing strategies are based on commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting

  • Doing brand positioning: Assist in achieving brand positioning and contribute ideas to brand plans.

  • Playing a senior role within the hotel commercial team to develop and drive revenue strategies to optimize all available space through all distribution channels

  • Ensuring that relevant hotel and central commercial team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions.

  • Doing Market analysis: Ensuring effective information gathering and analysis is conducted to identify and maximize all possible opportunities and minimize any risks

  • Doing budgeting: Participate in the delivery of annual budgets for specific areas of the business

  • Ensuring professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures

  • Integrating with other functions to ensure we exceed our customer's and owner's expectations.

  • Managing and developing the reservations team.

Job Requirements:

What do we need from you?

  • 2+ years of experience in revenue management and reservations experience within rooms and/or M&E. Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong preference for setting up and using systems to monitor and evaluate information from a wide variety of sources.

  • Strong preference for analyzing and organizing numerical financial and statistical data.

  • Strong presentational and influencing skills

  • Effective coaching skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Highly skilled in organization and planning

  • Fluent English / Dutch is essential

  • Marriott brand and system knowledge is preferred

  • Pre-hotel opening roadmap implementation
