Job Description:
-Responsibilities:
Professionally manage incoming and outgoing phone calls related to research activities, including participant recruitment and follow-up.
Conduct phone interviews with research participants, ensuring clear communication of questions and study protocols.
Assist in pain research sessions, supporting the research team with data collection, participant coordination, and monitoring during these sessions.
Interact courteously and professionally with in-person participants, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment during research sessions.
Accurately document and record information gathered during phone conversations and research sessions for data analysis.
Coordinate and schedule phone meetings, interviews, and follow-ups with participants, coordinators and investigators.
Ensure a positive and respectful tone in all phone and in-person communications, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Communicate effectively with diverse groups, adapting tone and style to suit the audience (e.g., research participants, coordinators, administrators and Principal Investigators).
Assist with tracking and managing participant follow-up calls, ensuring completion of tasks within project deadlines.
Expected Salary:
$13.00 - $15.00/hr, commensurate with education/experience

High School Diploma

Able to work in a continued 6 hours block, twice a week. From 7:30 AM to 1:30PM or 12:30PM to 6:30PM
Excellent phone etiquette with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle inquiries and provide information clearly and efficiently.
Experience in maintaining a positive and respectful tone, even under pressure.
Comfortable conducting phone screening, recruiting and follow-ups with potential participants. Attention to detail when recording and relaying information from phone conversations.
Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences (e.g., research participants, coordinators, administrators and Principal Investigators).
Proficiency in managing multiple phone tasks, including scheduling and follow-ups.
Resume, copy of school schedule and proof of Federal Work Study award must be attached for application to be considered.
