Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician in Fulton, Mississippi.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain a wide variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical tools.

  • Perform routine operating functions, inspections, and troubleshooting on all equipment.

  • Repair damaged equipment back to a high standard of working order by applying technical knowledge to problem solve.

  • Maintain fusion equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures associate productivity.

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to improve the capabilities of the maintenance team.

  • Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so that it aligns with production specifications or instructions.

  • Advise managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

  • Performs all job duties according to OSHA standards.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • I year mechanical/electrical experience preferred.

  • Prior experience using standard hand tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, etc.)

  • Prior experience using mechanic hand tools (socket sets, tap/dies, hex keys, etc.)

  • Prior experience using electric diagnostic tools (multimeter)

  • Prior experience maintaining hydraulic systems and components.

  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.

  • Experience using Microsoft products to communicate and complete daily task.

  • Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

  • Reliable attendance

Pay Range:

$15.67 - $23.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
