SOS International LLC Technical Lead in Fully Remote, United States

*This position is contingent upon award of contract*

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Technical Lead to provide engineering service and delivery during the execution of this task order. The Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the execution of engineering and service delivery, particularly focusing on a significant system migration project within the contact center domain. This individual will provide leadership, direction, and technical expertise to ensure successful completion of the project within specified timelines.

Essential Job Duties

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate a strong background in relevant technologies utilized in the contact center, including cloud computing, SaaS, and system migration methodologies.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of programming languages, databases, networking protocols, and security best practices relevant to the project.

Leadership Skills:

  • Exhibit excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate the team responsible for the system migration.

  • Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and support team members throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Make informed decisions to drive the project forward and overcome challenges efficiently.

Project Management:

  • Utilize strong project management skills to develop and execute comprehensive project plans.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, set expectations, and communicate project progress effectively.

  • Track milestones, manage resources, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

Communication Skills:

  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other relevant departments involved in the project.

  • Demonstrate clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

  • Actively listen to feedback and concerns and address them promptly and effectively.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

  • Identify and address technical issues and challenges that arise during the system migration process.

  • Utilize analytical skills to troubleshoot problems, analyze data, and propose effective solutions.

  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5+ years IT Project Management experience.

  • In-scope DoD Secret clearance is required.

  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing implementation.

  • Possess 2-5 years of experience designing and implementing service solutions.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must meet DoDi 8140.03 IT Certification requirements.

  • Technical certifications in Cloud Computing, Java or Python programming, Architect

  • Project management certificate, Project +, CAPM, PMP
