We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated IT Business Ops Manager who will support the IT Financial Management organization within the Chief Operating Office and Chief Technology Office at NCR. The Manager will be responsible for providing accurate financial and analytical reports to the management team for evaluating strategic decisions. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations and finance executives using Apptio to analyze budget conditions and future opportunities to deliver desired results. The ideal candidate will have strong financial technical acumen, develop meaningful analytics that drive decisions, collaborate across geographic locations, and sustain continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities for IT Workforce Analyst

We are looking for an IT Workforce Analyst to coordinate IT Workforce and Talent project activities. You will assist with data gathering and providing essential insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities could include analyzing performance and talent management data; suggesting recommendations that address gaps or solve talent needs; IT job family redesign; IT Intern onboarding and management, etc. In addition, you will assist with ensuring all managers within the organization stay updated on the status of ongoing projects. You will manage schedules, arrange assignments, and communicate progress to all team members. For this role, you will work with senior executives across technology and human resources, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze a variety of IT workforce management related issues as directed

  • Assists HR and IT managers in recruiting, training and management of IT interns

  • Supports plans and techniques to drive change and culture management

  • Assists in the integration of HR policies and procedures across the technology teams

  • Break projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals; monitors project progress and address potential issues; prepares and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders; then measure and report on project performance

  • Compile and analyze IT workforce data and metrics from the human resource information system

  • Supports employee surveys and exit interviews; the IT recruiting processes (to include data and statistics for trends and patterns); and prepares reports of data results and present findings to senior leadership

  • Supports the implementation of new employee training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field)

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Microsoft Excel)

  • Solid organization, time-management skills, and team spirit

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to senior leaders

  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role

  • Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)

  • Project scheduling – high level and task planning, scope, necessary deliverables, resource/time estimation

  • Human resources certification (i.e. SHRM)

  • Great learning agility with the ability to take direction and execute

  • Problem-solving ability

  • Understanding of human resources management
