Keurig Dr Pepper Inventory Compliance Manager in Frisco, Texas

Job Overview

  • Responsible for consulting with management on maintaining and monitoring a robust and efficient Internal Control environment following established company policies and legal requirements, including SOX controls.

  • Leverages their knowledge of the business, accounting, complex processes, regulations, legislation, and risk to support the business process owners in implementing the organization’s compliance and ethics programs.

  • Work with theManagement teams to ensure remediation plans close identified gaps and monitoring activities are implemented to allow for sustainability.

  • Demonstrate versatility by executing efficiently and effectively various compliance activities, including operational compliance reviews, internal audits, or inventory analysis.

  • Execute testing of operational controls, accounting/finance, business process, and SOX controls objectively and professionally.

  • Demonstrate critical/creative thinking skills by helping determine the most impactful direction of complex operational compliance activities and identifying improvement opportunities that drive the most value for the company.

  • Demonstrate verbal/written communication skills by collaborating with Internal Audit and Compliance team members, building relationships with process/control owners, effectively resolving conflicts, and concisely capturing procedures/results in working papers and reports.

  • Utilize business systems, applications, and audit tools to demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by helping drive innovation within the business network. Use of Lean principles to drive automation of inventory activities where applicable. e.g., dynamic bin counting through RF functionality.

  • Coordinate and participate in the execution of annual inventory observations for finished goods, raw materials, production parts, cooler parts, and fleet parts, as necessary.

  • Manage distressed inventory and short dated product; Responsible for inventory/material dispositions; Monitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance during inventory transactions. Review planning data and DOH within the warehouse network to reduce risk of obsolescence.

  • Support the planning/organization of physical inventories.

  • Act as a liaison to other departments (Systems/Purchasing/Production) Communicate with production team about current stock and potential issues with orders.

  • Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues; report on inventory activities and variances; conduct and report on inventory cycle counts.

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices; Train and educate site leaders on inventory compliance and ensure their understanding of company policies.

  • Analyze inventory-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on inventory compliance status, key performance indicators, and recommended improvements.

  • Monitor inventory levels, inventory turns, and aging stock, making recommendations for optimization and efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g.,CPIM, CSCP) are a plus .

  • 3+ years of operational compliance, audit experience, or years of related business and/or managerial experience

  • Experience working in all environments, including manufacturing plants and distribution centers.

  • Experience with SAP (database management), MS Office, and other reporting tools

  • Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and general Internal Controls
