Texas Health Resources Certified Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine - Full-Time, Days in Frisco, Texas

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Internal Medicine Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant *Sign-On for Eligible New Hires* Work location : 13024 Dallas North Tollway, Ste 110, Frisco TX, 75034 Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (may be required stay after 5pm) Internal Medicine Department highlights:

Here’s What You Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

  • CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)

  • High level of administrative work background

  • EMR, Epic experience (preferred)

  • ACLS or BLS (preferred)

  • Needs 3-5 years' experience in Family Health Care, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Urology, Cardiology or any highly used specialty (strongly preferred)

  • Epic experience (preferred)

  • Experience in a fast paced clinic (preferred)

What You Will Do

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process

  • Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position

  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician

  • Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights

  • Ability to multitask

  • May work in the front office as needed

  • May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
