Aerotek Diesel Mechanic in Freeport, Texas

Job Description
Seeking a level II Diesel Mechanic. They will be working on freight liners with 80% of their fleet having Detroit engines. Other portion is Cummins. You will be responsible for the following:
-Performing routine maintenance
Repairs on regeneration systems
Clutch replacement
Brake repairs, repair wheel seals
Turbo replacements
-Working off a preventative maintenance schedule
-Will be doing oil changes, hose changes, belts changes, and minor repairs
-Will NOT be doing complete overhauls
-Will need to troubleshoot the engine and components to determine required maintenance
-You will be working through a computer system to order parts and quote jobs
Must Have:
5+ years experience working with fleet diesel engines
Freightliner repair experience
Experience with brakes, clutches, wheels, engines
Own tools (1/4"-1/2" power and air tools. They supply anything larger than 1/2")
Schedule:
M-F 6am-3:30pm
