SAIC Operations Planner in FORT MOORE, Georgia

Description

SAIC is seeking an Operations Planner to join our team in Fort Moore, Georgia.

This position serves on a team of eight personnel that plans and executes a live field prototype experiment annually called the Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment (AEWE). Work is in person daily at Fort Moore, Georgia with the Maneuver Battle Lab.

Job Description :

  • The Operations planner will set major milestones for the project, from concept to completion of deliverables.

  • The Operations Planner will be responsible for building the annual calendar of major activities, supervise the submission of major resource requests including personnel, oversee scheduling of training land, airspace, and ranges at Fort Moore, Georgia, and oversee the development of experiment technology training.

  • During experiment execution the Operations Planning will run daily synchronization meetings, oversee execution of the experiment control room, and oversee recovery operations.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

Qualifications:

  • Organization, planning, familiarity with Army doctrine

  • Experience in oral presentation in information briefing and decision briefing formats

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office productivity software.

Clearance :

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance required prior to first day.
