Our work depends on Electronics Technician Maintenance III joining our team to support the customer that request or expertise to fix what is needed in the areas of; Tactical Network Transport-At the Halt (TNT-ATH) Field Service Representative (FSR).

How the Electronics Technician will make an impact:

  • Performs maintenance operations support including screening and repairing electronic equipment; installing software in electronic equipment; and installation and de-installation of electronic equipment on vehicles, ground stations, and aerial vehicles.

  • Perform maintenance and repair services including, but not limited to, fault diagnosis, removal, and replacement of line replaceable units (LRUs), Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), screening, repair, overhaul, refurbishment, retrograde, installation of systems, customer support, calibration, and alignment for all C5ISR systems and associated support equipment in scope of the task order.

  • Perform maintenance, and sustainment support services to support the CECOM mission worldwide, both in peacetime and during contingency and wartime operations. Perform maintenance support primarily be at the Sustainment level, less depot level (as defined by AR 750-1) in electronics, and to a lesser extent mechanical support, including generator and environmental control unit repair and overhaul, and installation of C4ISR and electronic equipment and systems as required.

  • If required, then will perform system repairs in order to return each to the Full Operational Capability (FOC) or the U.S. Army’s 10/20 standard and in accordance with the applicable technical manuals (TMs). The equipment you will be supporting will consist with the following: Communications Device: Harris Radios (AN/PRC-150A, AN/VRC-104, AN/PRC-152, AN/PRC-117F, and AN/PRC-117G); Thales Radios (PRC-148); Secure, Mobile, Anti-Jam, Reliable, Tactical-Terminal (SMART-T) (AN/TSC-154); Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (WIN-T); A2C2 Airborne Battle Command; RADIO SET installation kit AN/VRC-90F, AN/VRC-92F OE-254/GRC Antenna System; HAWKEYE ANTENNA PEDESTAL HAWAKEY FLEX WAVEGUIDE 0130-6000-02T:BEACONREC, 0177-000-01T:MODEM; RADIO TERMINAL SET (TROPO) AN/TRC-170 (V)3; HIGH CAPACITY LINE OF SIGHT (HCLOS); SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (PHOENIX) AN/TSC-156; and TYAD COMSEC & Radio's AN/PYQ-10A; and Specializes in supporting Tactical Network Transport-At the Halt (TNT-ATH). Your role reflects the direct impact of the Army mission sustainable fleet of communication equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Required Experience: AA and 3 yrs of related experience; HS and 5 yrs of experience without a degree.

● Required Technical Skills: able to use TMDE and applicable technical manuals for required equipment. Must be able to understand military operations and equipment they support.

● Security Clearance Level: Secret Security Clearance required, must be current and active.

● Required Skills and Abilities: C5ISR Systems; Electronic Equipment; Electronic Systems; Equipment Testing; Maintenance Repair; Satellite Communications (SATCOM)

● Preferred Skills: Communications Security (COMSEC); Computer Literacy; Maintenance Operations; Military Operations; Multimeter; Operations; Optical Fibers Cables; Radios; Troubleshooting

● Must have the ability to lift 50-80lbs frequently

● Location: On site, not remote work authorized and Travel requirement up to twenty five percent (25%) to customer sites. Must have a current Passport and at least two (2) years before expiring.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $34.45 - $46.61. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
