Associate Laboratory Technician

Kelly Science has immediate needs for an Associate Laboratory Technician opening in Fort Lawn SC with one of our growing clients. This opportunity is perfect for someone trying to enter the industry or grow within an organization.

Shift: 6pm-6:30pm, rotating schedule, training on day shift

Location: Fort Lawn SC

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and analysis such as plate reading, sample plating and sample collection

• Separating out of spec samples and following SOP accordingly

• Suggest improvements for laboratory operations to optimize efficiencies

• Complete all initial and on-going quality and safety training in a timely manner

• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, and appropriately dispose of all samples

• Enter in all data in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring OOS samples are quarantined and that a supervisor is notified

Qualifications:

• Associates degree required in Chemistry or Biology or other life science major

• HS Diploma plus 3 years laboratory experience in place of Associates degree

• BS degree highly preferred

• Experience in a QC role highly desired
