NATURE OF WORK  

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Trainer to join our team. The Trainer will play a vital role in onboarding and training new janitorial staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about training and development to kickstart their career in the facilities management industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and deliver training programs for new janitorial staff, focusing on essential skills such as cleaning techniques, safety protocols, equipment operation, and customer service.

  • Conduct hands-on training sessions and demonstrations to reinforce learning objectives and provide practical experience in janitorial tasks, as well as floor care training.

  • Collaborate with senior trainers and department managers to continuously improve training materials and methodologies based on feedback and performance evaluations.

  • Lead new hire orientations, providing an overview of company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate training schedules and logistics, including room reservations, equipment setup, and communication with trainees.

  • Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching to support their skill development and confidence in their roles.

  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, performance assessments, and completion of training modules.

  • Travel to various company locations to conduct training sessions and support new hire orientations as needed.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in janitorial services to enhance the training curriculum and adapt to evolving needs.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS 

  •   High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in facilities management, hospitality, or related fields is a plus.

  • Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred, but not required; willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and instructions to diverse audiences.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism aligned with the company guidelines.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Tasks are usually performed under little direct supervision allowing use of independent judgment.

  • Valid Florida Driver’s license
