SOS International LLC DoDIN Operations Wide Area Network (WAN) Branch Manager in Fort Huachuca, Arizona

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a DoDIN Operations Wide Area Network (WAN) Branch Manager at Fort Huachuca, AZ in support of a large, mission-critical IT services and support program with continuous (24x7) operations. The DoDIN Operations WAN Branch Manager reports to the DoDIN Operations Division Manager and is responsible for all technical requirements and SLAs associated with the WAN.

Essential Job Duties

  • Ensures the successful delivery of services under specific Performance Work Statement (PWS) elements supported by the WAN Branch.

  • Advises on the feasibility of potential future projects to upper management.

  • Supports the control and operational responsibilities within the boundary between the installation LAN and WANs

  • Contributes to all devices managed, assuring they are fully mission capable by using Government-provided tools, SOPs, and/or manual procedures to verify managed devices for outages, performance issues, and service degradations.

  • Contributes to ensuring the holistic achievement of the availability and security requirements of the PWS.

  • Contributes to the development, documentation, and sustainment management methods for device maintenance and maintains TTPs to sustain the mission.

  • Assesses new services, technologies, software tools, and network devices that may improve abilities to proactively monitor performance, remediate concerns, and offer recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintains Continual Process Improvement (CPI) / Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to improve the overall quality of services delivered.

  • Supports Defensive Cyber Operations requirements by providing support services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the DoD Information Systems and Networks.

  • Follows ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.

  • Maintains SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Participates in special projects as required and actively collaborates with Government Technical Managers, fellow Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and senior Leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science, or relevant discipline AND eight (8) years’ experience (Master's Degree preferred)

  • Experience substitution in lieu of education: Associate degree + 10 years’ experience OR High School Diploma + 12 years’ experience.

  • IAT-II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) or higher is required

  • CSSP-IS Certification

  • ITIL foundation certification

  • Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the U.S. Army

  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Management, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC) preferred

  • ITIL v4 certification

  • PMP Certification

  • 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience

Work Environment

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
