SOS International LLC Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Division Manager in Fort Huachuca, Arizona

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Division Manager at Fort Huachuca, AZ in support of a large, mission-critical IT services and support program with continuous (24x7) operations. The DCO Division Manager reports to the Program Director and is responsible for all technical requirements and SLAs associated with the DCO Division mission, to include CDO, DCA, T&DA, and DI performance.

Essential Job Duties

  • Research technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to networked weapons platforms and US and DoD information networks.

  • Analyze network events to determine the impact on current operations and conduct all-source research to determine advisory capability and intent.

  • Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open-source information.

  • Correlate threat data from various sources.

  • Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.

  • Collect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.

  • Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and network operations officials.

  • Contribute to all devices managed by assuring they are fully mission capable using Government-provided tools, SOPs, and/or manual procedures to verify managed devices for outages, performance issues, and services degradations.

  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and sustainment management methods for device maintenance and maintain TTPs to sustain mission.

  • Assess new services, technologies, software tools, and network devices that may improve abilities to proactively monitor performance, remediate concerns, and offer recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintain Continual Process Improvement (CPI) / Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to improve the overall quality of services delivered.

  • Support DCO requirements by providing support services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the DoD Information Systems and Networks.

  • Lead positions may have supervisory responsibility to include but not limited to: reporting and timekeeping; technical/administrative training; correspond with the government; effectively utilize all team resources through scheduling; support management decision-making; recommend/take action regarding recognition and discipline; and recommend innovative solutions to more effectively and efficiently support work performance.

  • Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.

  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Collaborate with external agencies, LE/CI, GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and Leadership.

  • Supervisory duties include but are not limited to: reporting and timekeeping; technical/administrative training; communications with the government; ensuring high quality service delivery or reports; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; support management decision-making; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis.

  • Provide sound guidance to contract staff in the absence of instructions; ensuring teams perform to established standards.

  • Approve team schedules ensuring mission coverage.

  • Provide performance feedback and appraisals for all direct reports, as well as second-level approval for Team Leads that directly report to Branch Managers

  • Nominate employees for recognition and awards program supports leadership development and succession planning program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related field AND eight (8) years’ experience

  • Experience substitution in lieu of education: Associate degree + 10 years’ experience OR High School Diploma + 12 years’ experience.

  • IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC) or higher is required

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

  • ITIL Foundation certification

  • Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the U.S. Army

  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related field

  • CISSP certification

  • ITIL v4 certification

  • PMP Certification

  • 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
