POSITION OVERVIEW:

Crossroads is seeking a Technical Supervisor for one of its clients.

Position Summary:

Technical Supervisor (TS) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the preparation, delivery, execution, and recovery of all personnel, students, equipment/supplies, and vehicles necessary for leading various courses and training scenarios. The TS will ensure topics of instruction and delivery methods benefit the students attending, the military intent for training and meet the business goals of the home organization. This includes all administrative and operational tasks. The main duties and responsibilities include organizing and executing various activities to improve contract performance and company efficiencies, successful operation of each course from planning to execution and recovery, develop sound and competent lecturers and coaches, designate, and build long-term goals for developing the overall program ensuring success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance

  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached

  • Develop and manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

  • Direct the completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders

  • Schedule and assign duties to subordinates and contractors and ensure assignments are completed as directed.

  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives

  • Enforce work standards and review/resolve work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

  • Provide advice and guidance regarding the planning, execution, and re-constitution of assets.

  • Identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and terminating employees and contractors working in support of this contract.

  • Enforce Quality Control and Quality Management in support of contract performance and delivery.

  • Quarterly Counseling of staff done through monitored performance

  • Assist military entities with managing schedules, resources, cost, and quality in accordance with planned estimates and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Administration, Leadership, Management, or related field.

  • Prior military with rank of at least E-8 / O4 with proven leadership abilities

  • Have four (4) years of management experience in combat training, planning and execution as well as have the ability to train junior personnel.

  • Hold a current Secret security clearance prior to starting in position.

  • Have experience with pre-deployment training issues/practices.

  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
