Description of Work Unit

Arts Management at the LEAP Institute is a Special Academic Unit in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University, which offers a Master of Arts Leadership and Cultural Management degree. The Arts Management program believes that knowledge of the arts and cultures of our world are the foundation for career and life, opening possibilities for leadership, entrepreneurship, successful advocacy, and transformative public engagement. Arts Management provides learners with aesthetic and cultural knowledge in the Arts, and the concrete abilities needed to work in all sectors of the economy including private enterprise, non-profit leadership, and public administration.

Founded in 1870, Colorado State University is among the nation’s leading research universities and enrolls approximately 32,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Located an hour north of the Denver metro area, Fort Collins is a vibrant community of approximately 157,000 residents that offers the convenience of a small town with all the amenities of a large city. Position Summary

Arts Management, a Special Academic Unit housed in the College of Liberal Arts, may seek part-time Instructors to teach a variety of courses in arts management, both residentially and online.

Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are made during the late spring and early summer for fall semester, during the early fall semester for spring and during the spring semester for the summer term.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • At least 3 years of experience working within the field of arts management or administration or related fields

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in the field within the industry

  • Master’s degree
