Trace Systems Inc Network Engineer in Fort Liberty, North Carolina
Overview:
Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Location: Ft. Liberty, NC
Security Clearance: Active in-scope, US Government issued Secret clearance
Requisition Type: Funded
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required
Job Responsibilities:
Provide classified and non-classified support for enterprise and tactical SIPR, NIPR, and local/wide Area Networks.
Administer Cisco Call Managers and Voice Gateways in support of NIPR VoIP services.
Support Information Assurance (IA) and Authority to Operate (ATO) compliancy requirements.
Manage Contingency Network Facilities
Maintain TACLANE's.
Administer Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS).
Improve network services not limited to backbone networks, fiber infrastructure, and security architecture.
Investigate emerging technologies that may benefit the organization.
Duties also include interfacing with WIN-T personnel and providing assistance with WIN-T specific projects.
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years experience in the related field
Candidate must be DoD 8570 IAT Level III compliant with a Security+, or equivalent, or higher baseline certification.
Candidate must have the CCNA or higher Cisco Computing Environment certification.
Experience in routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), switching protocols (SPT, MST), MPLS, Redundancy Protocols (VSS, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP), Quality of Service (QoS), Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN), and IPSec VPN.
Knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) concepts, network configurations, network devices, Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunneling and VTC Networks
Demonstrated experience with the operation of Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls and strong working familiarity with Cisco IOS commands.
Experience with any or all of the following network management software: Solarwinds Orion, Cisco works, and Solar Winds Engineering toolset.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
Active in-scope, US Government issued Secret clearance
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
