Amentum Database Architect in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Amentum is seeking a Database Architect to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously.

Essential Duties:

Possess the ability to liaison with software engineering departments in an effort to maintain immediate response to critical requirements resulting from analysis of current specification data on assigned systems.

  • Fluent in English (written and oral).

Minimum Requirements:

Must have an active Final Top-Secret Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

  • Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TS clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college/university plus ten years of experience in a related field involving software innovation, changes and upgrades of major security systems and certification in the following:

· MS Windows Certification

· CCNA

· VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)

· NetApp

· CISCO

Support program management or site management office in a technical role. A minimum of three years’ experience in system level programming in the current version of UNIX or Windows operating systems and programming experience with software languages such as C, C++ and other related software applications
