Hiring for shift: Monday/Friday 8a-4p, Saturday/Sunday 6a-6p. Weekday work days can be also be done on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
ACCOUNTABILITIESOPERATION OF EQUIPMENTMaintain and repair equipment/machineryMonitor equipment/machinery, stock and change/fill as neededComplete checklist of daily cleaning of all equipment/machineryPerform diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment/machineryObserve all equipment/machinery and perform adjustments as neededMonitor baler status and create bales as neededAssist with clearing jams on conveyor lines with use of power equipmentOperate power equipment to unload, move and load product and balesOperate and maintain battery changer and water for batteries
SUPPORT BUILDING OPERATIONS WITH BASIC MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION FUNCTIONSMove tables and chairs to prepare rooms for meetingsRemove trash and recycling materialsPaint and change light bulbs as neededWork on processing floor as needed
COLLABORATE IN ROUTINE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND MAJOR REPAIRFill part requests for Maintenance TechniciansAssist on repairs, preventative maintenance and completion of minor projectsReplace rollers and clean labels in all areas including but not limited to P&A machines, guide rails and floors
QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREDBasic mechanical aptitudeEffective verbal and written communication skillsRegular attendance is requiredAbility to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
PREFERREDAbility to operate battery changerExperience in mechanical or construction capacityExperience in operating Material Handling equipment, floor scrubbers and balers
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSPhysical activity may include time standing/walking up to 12 hours with scheduled breaks. Ability to work in a multi-level environment, including climbing stairs, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting and pushing on a frequent basisAbility to lift 30 pounds repetitively and more than 50 pounds with a two person lift as neededMay be required to take a drug screen
