About the Position

Our Ferndale Washington office is seeking a full-time Accountant. This position requires a highly organized, self-starter who can work efficiently, and independently while being part of a team in the following areas:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Accounting for general ledger, fixed assets accounting, cash reconciliations and accounts receivable.

  • Full cycle accounting for various small entities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Compensation and Benefits

  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage is available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

  • IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.

  • Paid time off based on length of employment.

  • Competitive starting wage $30.00-$35.00 per hour DOE.

    Location

  • Ferndale, Washington, IMCO corporate office.

  • This is not a remote position, however working one day a week at home is acceptable.

    Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required.

  • Preferably a background in public accounting.

  • 1+ years of experience in accounting.

  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant fixed asset accounting standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint, QuickBooks).

  • This position is not considered a safety-sensitive position therefore pre-employment drug screening will not include cannabis testing.

  • Criminal background check required.

  • Commitment to teamwork, safe work practices, and integrity.
