About the Position

We are seeking a candidate willing to work as a construction Mechanic to repair and maintenance heavy equipment and trucks. This position will be considered a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and will work primarily in the shop. This Mechanic position will service and repair all equipment and vehicles in the shop and jobsites, keep records of repairs completed, communicate daily with the shop team, and buy/order parts as needed. A successful candidate must have the ability, experience, and knowledge of heavy construction equipment repairs and maintenance. This person must adhere to company policies and values and thrive working in a team setting.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting pay range 32.00 to 35.00 per hour. Depending on experience.

  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage is available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

  • 401K match on eligible wages and available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.

  • Safely and efficiently repair equipment

  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues

  • Document repairs completed

  • Maneuver equipment in and out of the shop

  • Perform repairs with safety and quality as the top priority

  • Report defects, accidents, or violations

    Location & commitments

  • Location – Ferndale

  • Full time - 8–10-hour shifts

  • Overtime may be available

  • Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones

    Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a mechanic (heavy equipment)

  • Current and valid driver’s license

  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions

  • Pre-employment drug testing

  • Criminal background check

  • Adhere to all safety requirements

  • Commitment to teamwork, safe work practices, and integrity
