Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join a growing division within an international organization. This Project Manager will focus directly on recycling project initiative relative to the expanding EV/Battery market and help drive towards carbon neutral initiatives. The main goal of this role will be to stand up a new arm of the division to work towards better sustainability in production and recycling of batteries along with their precious metal components. This organization currently has circular economy set up for other divisions and is seeking someone with expertise in this arena to help set up similar operations for this division. Ideally, this individual to be based out of Michigan and travel to location as needed (anticipated travel up to 25% of the time). This role will have high visibility to upper leadership and interact cross functionally with a multitude of departments both internally and externally with clients.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree

5+ years of experience in engineering, sales or supply chain

Circular Economy or recycling experience in an industrial setting

Comfortable with 25% travel (domestic) Battery or precious metals manufacturing/recycling knowledge

Environmental permitting

Bilingual (Japanese) null
