Element Materials Technology Cyber Remediation Manager in Fairfield, Ohio

Overview

Element is looking to hire a Cyber Remediation Manager. This is a new position located our Cincinnati Global Business Center and will be part of our grow Digital Technology Group.

As the Cyber Remediation Manager, you will play a critical role incomplianceof our global infrastructure by overseeing incident remediation, tracking post-incident actions, and assessing vulnerability threats. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities, ensuring the continuous protection of our organization's assets, and maintaining the highest cybersecurity standards/compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track post-incident remediation actions, ensuring that identified vulnerabilities and weaknesses are addressed effectively.

  • Implement remediation plans to prevent the recurrence of security incidents and improve overall cybersecurity posture.

  • Work closely with IT and security teams to implement necessary changes and enhancements to security policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular assessments of our global infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive vulnerability management program to prioritise and address security risks.

  • Collaborate with global teams to recommend and implement proactive measures to enhance infrastructure security.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on the status of post incident remediation and vulnerability assessment activities to senior management.

  • Maintain accurate records of post incidents actions taken, and vulnerabilities discovered for compliance and audit purposes.

  • Help drive security maturity in vulnerability management and security in general across the business, through positive engagement and teaching.

  • Provide advice to technical and non-technical audiences on appropriate prioritization of patch deployment.

  • Keep up to date with emerging threats and new vulnerabilities under active exploitation, prioritizing the greatest risks to business infrastructure based on the latest cyber threat intelligence.

Skills / Qualifications

  • 2 years’ proven experience of managing remediation and vulnerability threat management in a Cyber Security role

  • An working knowledge of infrastructure and web application scanning tools (e.g. Tenable, Nessus)

  • A mature understanding of Cyber Security Technologies and controls

  • An awareness of Microsoft security stack, including Active Directory and Azure AD

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
