Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Fairfield, New Jersey. This role involves managing invoices and check requests, with the opportunity to transition into a contract-to-hire employment opportunity. You will be based on site, working from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable

• Handling check requests and ensuring they are completed accurately

• Using Sage Intacct for various accounting tasks

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure all financial data is correct

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing

• Ensuring the coding of invoices is accurate and up-to-date

• Executing check runs to pay for necessary business expenses

• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work. Requirements • Possess a solid understanding of account reconciliation.

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) management.

• Able to conduct comprehensive check runs.

• Capable of coding invoices accurately.

• Proficient in data entry tasks.

• Experience with invoice processing.

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
