Job Description:

GDIT is hiring for a variety of roles to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) IT Engineering and Architecture Services focused program. This DHS program will be staffed with a combination of remote staff with many being located across the CONUS. Some leadership positions maybe be required to be located in the DC Metro area to support client facing activities as needed. The scope of this effort centers around modernizing large enterprise IT infrastructure environment. Key areas of focus are:

  • Network; to include LAN, WAN, and Cloud

  • Platform Hosting Services

  • Hybrid multi-cloud

  • Automation and AI

  • Testing and Evaluation

  • Deployment; to include refresh, new sites, upgrades

These program services include ownership of the design, engineering, and implementation of complex IT products and services for the DHS Components entire global enterprise. This ownership includes all necessary IT Security work support of IT Operations. Support required includes:

  • Cloud Engineering & DevSecOps

  • Platform & Network Engineering

  • Platform Architecture & Engineering

  • WAN-Router-Switch-Cloud Optimization

  • Wireless Network

  • Network Security

  • Distributed Processing & Hosting

  • Performance & Capacity Planning; Automation & Orchestration

  • Device Management

  • Technical Assessment Center & Compliance

  • Image Lab

  • Unified Communications

The likely salary range for this position is $184,662 - $313,914. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
