The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to plan daily activities either in inbound or outbound operations, ensuring efficient coordination amongst his direct reports and the rest of the organization. He manages timely preparation and shipment of finished and semi-finished goods, as well as the receiving, the recording and the storing of the raw material, assuring at the same time the continuous feeding of the components to the production lines. Responsibilities will include the control of the incoming material, the inventory level, the labeling, the storing and the material flow and handling. The Warehouse Supervisor interact with various departments throughout the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

A warehouse supervisor plays a critical role in managing warehouse operations and ensuring efficiency in the daily activities. To succeed in the role he will have to:

• Plan all shipping and receiving activities in line with the company’s objectives and business targets, and the guidelines of Logistics department.

• Ensure timely planning and shipping of material to the end customer or upstream stocking points.

• Ensure timely unloading, receiving, storage, and delivery of material to the storage locations.

• Oversee and review the accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation in accordance with all trade compliance regulations, matching codes and quantities with open purchase orders.

• Ensure shipping and receiving functions are performed safely and in accordance with established EHS procedures

• Maintain and issue shipping and receiving performance KPI’s

• Identify and implement cost reduction measures to drive operational efficiency

• Fulfill picking ticket function ensuring the timely and accurate picking, packing, delivery, transaction, and maintenance of all documents associated with the process.

• Manage inventory, which includes maintain accurate records, conduct cycle counts, and resolve any discrepancy.

• Work together with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to effectively manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality standards.

• Manage and resolve any warehouse-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive employee relations.

• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving accuracy, providing recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

• 2 years of experience in logistic department in manufacturing environment preferably in complex supply chain organizations.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft office package, ERP software

• English Fluent is an advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement and distribution) and a superior understanding of supply chain flow in a plant.
