Description CORPS: Everett POSITION: Site Manager STATUS: Non-exempt/ Full-time COMPENSATION: $ 27.00 hr GENERAL STATEMENT: The Salvation Army is a branch of the Christian Church, and the ultimate goal of all programs is the spiritual regeneration of all people. SCOPE OF POSITION: The Site Manager oversees daily facilities operations while working closely with the Program Manager and the Program Director. Daily facilities operations will include ensuring food pantry and hygiene supplies are stocked, tracking inventory and service provision, overseeing habitability standards, and providing maintenance schedules. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Management, operations, and supervision of Shelter Program frontline staff. Manage the condition of rooms and document or respond to incidents and maintenance requests. Maintain and track facility supply inventory. Conduct periodic walking inspections of the site to identify and initiate appropriate action (correction, reporting, etc.) for hazards, inappropriate behavior, needed repairs, or other notable conditions. Respond to emergencies that may arise, making independent decisions within policy guidelines as necessary Provide crisis intervention and institute security procedures should a critical or threatening situation arise. Provide timely and appropriate notification to police, fire, emergency medical, and supervisory authorities. Provide orientation, support, and supervision to staff and volunteers. Assist with the orientation and training of new staff, volunteers, and interns. Participate in staff meetings. Generate reports as needed. Prepare general correspondence as requested, including form letters. Perform other administrative functions as requested by the Director Comply with Salvation Army procedural requirements, including those outlined in the Policy & Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: College degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required, Minimum of one year experience in public contact / Customer Service Minimum of two years administrative experience REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: An ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner. Detail-oriented - attention to detail required Customer service mindset Team player Vigorous use of the English language in verbal and written communication Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure SOFTWARE-RELATED SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of the use of the email program - Outlook Working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as files file cabinet drawers and reach overhead Ability to operate the telephone Ability to use a desktop or laptop computer Ability to lift to 45lbs Ability to access and produce information from a computer Ability to interpret and understand written instruction A generous benefits package is included with full-time positions: paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, and medical, vision, and dental insurances.
