Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for multiple (Senior or Mid-level) Business Operations specialists (level 3 or 4) to join the Everett Delivery Center in Everett, Washington.

The Everett Delivery Center Business Operations team is responsible for the Statement of Work planning, commitment, and control activities to support the painting and deliveries of 737 / 767 / 777 / 787 airplanes.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and integrating programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals for authorization. This includes tasks such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis, and impact mitigation. You will collaborate with business partners to validate results, determine scope, and develop business cases. Additionally, you will coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations, identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine business cases. Your role will also involve providing implementation direction for work authorization, collecting and organizing data, ensuring compliance, and providing coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis, and impact mitigation.

  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results, determine scope to meet long-range business goals, and develop business case.

  • Supports the coordination of commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning, and refines the business case.

  • Meets with leadership to gain approval. Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain the status of programs, customer and supplier commitments, and compliance.

  • Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in Business Operations, or Finance related or planning related field

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, developing and presenting recommendations to the executive level and leading high-level projects for Executives or Sr Leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • 3+ years of experience working in a dynamic work environment, including managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • 3+ years of experience developing relationships and negotiating commitments with other functional organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools

  • Experience in a role that required communication, executive writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (level 3): $93,000 - $101,000

Summary pay range (level 4): $115,000 - $125,000
