Eaton Corporation Senior Analyst Materials Planning in Euclid, Ohio

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Senior Analyst Materials Planning. The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Planner is responsible for managing customer web portals, retrieving forecast information from customer portals, planning and scheduling in order to balance the forecast with actual demand, maintaining optimal inventory levels. Also, responsible for customer service activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products. Expected to utilize various business systems, a variety of reports and other analytical tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements.

In this function, you will:

  • Provide High Performance Work Teams with transparency to longer term plan, material availability, and work center loading through monthly roundtable reviews. Evaluate material needed for calls sent from MRO throughout day.

  • Monitor inventory transactions to assure material is being processed in an accurate and timely manner. Identify and communicate potential delays and/or problems to internal and external customers which may impede customer delivery.

  • Maximize material availability by proactively identifying future work order material requirements, or material call requirements, and facilitating delivery with the appropriate teams.

  • Review open material orders (calls, DO's, SO's) for potential fulfillments & adjust due dates as needed in Edge.

  • Attend MRO Tier 2 meeting. Identify critical shortages & relay projected delivery dates. Update delivery section of the MRO tier board.

  • Manage all due dates (calls fulfilled current day as well as calls with shortages based on MPS feedback w/ stock dates). Manage expense part bags to replenish 2 bin system (Kanban System).

  • Evaluate and recommend changes to planning parameters like lot size, lead time, and safety stock levels. Allocate parts to calls with no shortages and send to stock crib.

  • Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information (work order, work center, inventory, forecast) and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to improve plant/product line supply chain execution.

  • Leads and participates on manufacturing cell improvement teams, driving the continuous improvement of operations by setting/communicating goals, team building, and analysis.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.

  • Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning and ERP systems/MFGPro.

  • Strong computer and data analysis skills (i.e., Excel, Access, database management).

  • Responsible for work assignments with increasing difficulty requiring increase scope and knowledge.

  • Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production.

  • Planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.

  • Customer Service/UI Experience
