Nestle Senior Solution Architect - Specification to Product in Esplugues Llobregat, Spain

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect SAP PLM to be part of our IT Analytics Data and Integration (IT ADI).

The role

In order to complete our Analytics Data and Integration (ADI) Department, we are currently looking for a Senior Solution Architect – Specification to Product (S2P).

In this position, you will be accountable for supporting proactively and holistically all Specification to Product solutions architecture activities within Master Data Group that fit within the overall Enterprise Architecture and meet the product strategy. As a Solution Architect, you will provide the necessary leadership, experience, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a set of solutions within S2P team. You will work closely with other Architects, Development Teams and Suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way and you will be accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution within the scope, owning the solution architecture specification.

What you’ll do

• Manage and develop the architecture for a set of IT solutions primarily based on SAP PLM collaborating closely with application developers and various solution architects

• Utilize knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience to deliver the architectural design for new product solutions. Provide inputs to the roadmap and translate business needs into a comprehensive solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution.

• Ensure Specification to Product’s solutions adhere to established guidelines, standards and best practices in terms of development, integration and architecture

• Ensure Product’s solutions are in alignment with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision

• Technical supervisor for technical upgrade, support pack or platform migration

• Provide support or guidance to existing teams in case of complex problems touching any of Product’s solutions

Minimum qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience in application development, information analysis in a multitier environment

• Demonstrated experience with PLM Process Industry business process (Specification, Recipe, Compliance, Packaging Management), performance management, benchmarking, and financial analysis.

• Extensive expertise in data modeling and solution development across diverse technologies and platforms, including SAP R/3, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP PI, Snowflake, Power BI, .NET, Microsoft Azure

• Ability to investigate complex problem involving different systems and teams and propose effective solutions which may require the coordination of different inhouse/offshore teams

• Solid understanding of agile methods and processes, and having the ability to support agile project teams by offering valuable advice and guidance on identifying opportunities, assessing impact and risks, while considering technical and architectural debt

• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments

• Excellent understanding of application development methodologies & infrastructure and network architecture

• Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements

• Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives

• Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations

• Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization
