Emerson Digital Customer Experience - Project Analyst in Escazú, Costa Rica

Under supervision of the DCX Project Manager, the DCX Project Analyst will support in overseeing and coordinating projects that support the Emerson Automation Solutions, Actuation Technologies Business Unit.

This role will contribute to project planning, preparing, and maintaining documentation, monitoring project activities, and evaluating the overall project.

In addition, this role will interact with multiple workstreams and deal with requirements across various systems and tools.

The DCX Project Analyst will be part of the IT Team which will implement and support Oracle and Digital Customer Experience applications for Actuation Technologies Organizations globally.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work within the IT Team to provide project support and assist with the following actions:

  • Coordinate requirements gathering, scope, and change management activities.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.

  • Prepare data and reports for project stakeholders.

  • Analyze project data and propose solutions to improve project performance.

  • Assist with preparing budget inputs and overseeing project costs.

  • Collaborate in monitoring and evaluating the overall project(s).

  • Participate actively in project reviews in conjunction with Project Manager(s).

  • Develop user training plans and strategies and ensure adequate training is completed.

  • Assist in driving the governance processes and tools in line with the Platform IT strategy related to the Business Unit’s use of the SAFe/Agile framework.

  • Communicate effectively in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Serve as a member of the Emerson Actuation Technologies IT Team to develop and maintain best practices within the Business Unit and to drive consistency of technology across sites.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with other key projects and initiatives.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • BA/BS in Information Systems or related area plus 2 years related IT / Project Management experience

  • English Level B2 (Spoken and written) – according to Cambridge English Global Scales

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and project management skills.

  • Strong understanding of data analysis, IT project management techniques and tools.

  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.

  • Superior attention to detail.

  • Excellent research and reporting skills.

  • Work effectively in a team-based environment and independently when required.

  • Knowledge in Agile/Scrum, Critical Thinking Skills, or Techniques.

  • Ability to work efficiently, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
