Position Description:   Business Analyst

 

 

This position reports to the Project Coordinator Manager.   The Business Analyst will ensure work solutions meet business needs and requirements. The Business Analyst must have a clear understanding of the business needs and the ability to manage them effectively to ensure the successful implementation of project deliverables.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Understand and represent PRI's mission, vision, and values to all internal and external customers
  • Interact with PRI staff in a professional and accountable manner, and as a representative of PRI management
  • Direct project team members in order to successfully fulfill contract obligations with the highest quality and in a timely manner meeting PRITM's ISO requirements
  • Instills integrity throughout the organization via active participation in ISO requirements including but not limited to timely submission of Corrective Action Plans for all matters in which either PRITM standards and/or corporate contract standards have not been met. Communicating outcomes to team members to ensure a positive, open, environment which mitigates risk and achieves a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Ability to work on more than one project at a time
  • Demonstrate experience evaluating priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to understand the organization's business processes relevant to project goals
  • Document processes to help refine problems
  • Identify opportunities and actionable solutions from data; effective partnering with quality and program staff and leadership
  • Document and communicate the results of work efforts
  • Effectively communicate information and data to staff and management
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Ability to design and develop meaningful reports
  • Ensure team work items and logs are complete
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of work and projects
  • Perform requirements analysis
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Identify and communicate new process improvement opportunities
  • Perform other duties as requested

     

Requirements:

 

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or any related field, Bachelor's preferred
  • Required to be proficient with Microsoft office suite including Outlook, Access, Excel and Word
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail, ability to think strategically and logically
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively, both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information with confidentiality and tact
  • Reliable and trustworthy; Integrity is required as is availability
  • Must have no conflict of interest (COI) as defined in 1154(b)(1) of the Social Security Act (SSA)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance
