Description

Robert Half has partnered with a fast-growing distributor in Englewood in search of a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant position is paying $70,000-$85,000 + bonus!

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Assist with general accounting, and budgetary controls.

• Responsible for monthly journal entries to record, as determined by assigned accounts.

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly; resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis.

• Follow outlined timely month-end close process with organized and comprehensive checklist.

• Calculate and monitor costs for inventory valuation and job costing purposes.

• Assist with annual financial budget and forecasts.

• Analyze financial data to support various projects and initiatives.

• Assist in annual external financial statement audit process.

Requirements for the Staff Accountant include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Manufacturing, construction, or project accounting experience is nice to have, but not required
