Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare entries to accounts (GL and Subledger) documenting business transactions
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Develop solutions to capture financial data for unique business transactions
Support EchoStar/Dish merger integration, and help create and support intercompany accounting processes/treatments
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the process
Prepare financial results and reports (monthly and quarterly) for leadership
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA, or Master’s degree a plus (Finance and related fields may be considered)
3+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, preferably in a technology business
Skills and Qualifications:
A working knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and standards (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis)
Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and ability to synthesize data into concise analysis
Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
Advanced skills in MS Excel and proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle Financials or equivalent)
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written presentation skills; an ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable, clear, and effective communications
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
