What We Offer:

$19.36/hr guaranteed for your first 6 months with the option to opt out monthly and earn more based on production

Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

$1,000 retention bonus

$1,000 referral bonus

As an Operator, You Will:

•Follow Work Instructions to complete assembly of RIDGID pipe wrench

•Be required to inspect parts and components, notifying technicians of quality or productivity issues.

•Be required to pack the wrench into provided cartons and stack on pallets

•Work with DPR's and Work Instructions

•Operate Hook Mills/Threaders, Hook Grinders, Handle Cells, Feed Wheels

•Load parts into machine, unload parts

•Be required to keep their machines/work area clean

•Other duties may be assigned, also punctually and attendance is essential elements of this job.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to work any shift

• Basic to advanced math skills

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

• Ability to read production/shop orders

• Ability to use precision instruments

• Lean and 5S experience

About Our Location

Since the invention of the modern pipe wrench in 1923, the 25-acre RIDGID world headquarters in Elyria, Ohio has been developing tools that help trade professionals tackle jobs faster, safer, and more accurately. Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K sq. ft. of office and manufacturing space. The campus is also home to a factory tool service center and a state-of-the-art “schoolhouse” training center that educates and trains hundreds of tradespersons annually. In addition to the iconic wrench, the campus manufactures RIDGID battery hydraulic tools, pipe, and electrical tools, and drain cleaning components, as well as Greenlee step bits and knock-out tools.
